I'm posting this here to see how many people are interested in making a Star Trek mod with me.... Not any paticular ''age''. We would make from TOS, TNG, DS9 and VOY... First we would make it as canon as possible, and later on add our own stuff.... The campaign would have 4 separate camps which would be retrospective (From the end to the begining).... I Campaign: Klingon On a secret klingon base, the scientist (both Klingon and Federation) are making a very, very desctructive weapon to take care of the Borg treath... Suddenly they are attacked by the Borg and the entire base is destroyed... A klingon Officer is in charge of the investigation to find out who did it. After about 2 maps of searching (RPG) he/she finds out and the Klingon preapre for war (strategy).... II Campaign: Federation After numerus internal dissturbances caused by a group of traitors, the President is killed. A young Starfleet Admiral takes comand of the Federation and destroys the treachorus group... Captain Picard is accused of taking part in the rebelion and prosecuted... We play as Picard and his fellow officers to prove he is not guilty ( NO RIKER... Troi might show up) (Guess what... ROMULAN INVOLMENT).... III Campaign: Romulan We see an old friend in service of the Empire... Yes, it IS Tasha... She is a Romulan Admiral in charge of the region on the far edge of the Romulan Empire (not the Neutral Border, but the other side)... She brings out a plan to destroy Tal Shiar, becouse she hates them... We'll se Sela, her daughter too. IV Campaign: Dominion The Shapeshifters make an alliance with the borg to destroy the Federation... Also there would be some maps too, like Star Trek episodes... For instance, we would see Deeana and her Mother taking a vacation when a Feregi Kidnaps Deeana. It's up to Lwaxana to save her.... Some TOS maps too, maybe a Campaign too... Uhura would finally get a bigger part here.... Everything about Campaigns is a subject to change... If ANYONE wants to join post here or PM me... But it would be better to post here.... |

This actually seems interesting, I just have a few questions about it... What are your ideas for the conversion of the races? I have a few ideas for them: Human/Federation(multiple races) Klingon Vulcan Romulan If you have a Federation race, you'd need to think of the 4th race, as Vulcans are in the Federation in all of the Star Trek series, as where Klingons were not, and as far as I know.. Romulans are still not. If you DO want to do this, I would be able to do some skins, spell art edits, and any other texture editing that would need to be done. I can also do Unit editing (I know unit editing is very easy), and SOME Terrain Editing. I mainly do Skinning and Texture editing. |

My idea: Federation (disstinctive would be humans, vulcans, betazoid, andorian and bolian... Maybe some other too) Romulan Klingon Cardassian/Dominion (One of therese, not yet sure which) If a few more people join us, we'll have a team..... |

k, Well, I think ppl should help, this sounds like a cool idea.. btw, another idea for a race, is the Borg. I think they'd be great for a race. Also the Klingon race would be dependant on the time period.. if its TOS yea, they can be in, but anything after that.. Klingons are part of the Federation. If you put the Borg in, you can have something like Federation Romulan Borg Dominian/Cardassian |

Well, the Klingons were NEVER a part of the federation. they are just allies, helping each other when needed. That's why the Federation didn't do anything when the Klingon Civil war started... Becouse of the Prime directive, that says they cann't interfere with other races, but can inside the Federation. The borg would be in, but just like the Ferengi, a neutral spieces... Mazbe just a few units, two-three... They are just tooo much used to make use of them them again... And also it would be too hard, since they are equal, there would be maybe just 4 diferent Borgs.... The Federatio, Romulan and Klingon must be in.... And I belive thet Dominion is a better choice for the 4th race... As for the periods, the campaign would be somewhere after the end of TNG, between the movies... I don't think it would be wise to go with a post-Nemesis period... But as I said, there would be maps for TOS too (I love TOS), DS9, maybe even Voyager.... COMEONE PEOPLE, PLEASE JOIN!!!!! |

This looks like a mod more for SC2 when it comes out. = P I used to watch Star Trek every once in a while. Nothing compares to Starwars, though. = ) When SC2 comes out, the first campaign I'm making is for Starwars = ) |

Chrono, i don't see how oculd Star Trek look like StarCraft???????? really, am I missing smth? I like SW too, but prefer ST... Anyway, As far as members are concerned: Me- Team leader, Story writier, soon to be a modeler Loki Sam - My First Officer, modeler, helpin me with the story... Reap3R- Skinner, Texture editor Killah33- modeler, he still hasn't registered on WC3, but will in a few weeks and than will start working with us... Reap3R, what is acctually Texture editing? (Well, I know what it is, but does it also mean new terrains?) We need a modeler and someone for sounds and we're ready to go...... |

I wanna help! I can skin a little. And terrain beautifully. And trigger above average but not like a god or anything. Also I'm learning programing and once I get the concept down I'm going to learn JASS and I can be an AI maker!(And maybe new spells too) But the only ST series I've seen is Voyager and a little DS9. :bgrun: But I really like ST and want to help! |

BTW, TMG is much better than VOy (I din't see DS9) so I'm sure u will like it..... Welcome to the team... |
