Ive seen in a couple of arenas ( one is Nexus Arena) a cool hero selection method where you get control of the hero but can move it so you can view abilities how do they do that? |

Guest | Firstly, I'd like to warn you that multiple posts aren't allowed... if you have more to say and are the last person to have a post, then edit your last post Secondly, I don't think Nexus Arena paused the units.. they change the ownership and then issue a stop command whenever you try to order the unit to move |

Actually I think they do both. But they change ownership to you whenever you click the unit, so you can view it "on the inside". |

Don't attempt to start a flame war. He had a valid point, you shouldn't multi-post, the problem's solved, end of discussion. |

First place some Enemy-controlled players... Then transfer control when someone clicks them, if they are not being looked at for the time being: E: Player 1 selects a unit A: If (Preplaced number of a hero) and owner of unit equal to The Computer Player then do Change ownership of (Unit currently selected) by (Triggering player) to (Triggering player) and do not change color else do nothing Now make the same trigger but reverse. Change it to deselect and change ownership to Computer player again. Now, when someone types -take it will take the hero currently selected... So: E: Player 1 types -take as an exact match C: (Triggering player) has a unit currently selected A: If (Unit currently selected by (Triggering player)) equal to Preplaced unit 1 or Repeat the same condition until you got all heros here... do Turn off (this trigger) else do nothing. If (Unit currently selected by (Triggering player)) equal to Preplaced unit 1 or Repeat the same condition until you got all heros here... do Change ownership of (Units currently selected by triggering player) to (Triggering player) and change color - Also move the unit here! - else do nothing Regards Dead-Inside |
