Well this goes to all you skinners: CitizenSnips and me are thinking about a contest, where we would leave a model for download (modelled by Citizen, sure), and everyone can take your try on it skinning whatever you want. But we are going to ask fisrt: What do you all want to skin? Post any ideas, just don't spam much ;) Keep in mind: Be creative in your suggestions. No "no wolfyy thrall!!!" please. If you have any concepts please post them here also, they'll be very helpful to Citizen. Note: This ISN'T the official contest's thread, we didn't fix any rules until now. This is just an info gathering thread. And we are just gathering ideas, this doesn't mean we'll take the idea. They'll just help us on it. Regards, KDEWolf. By the way don't use drugs kids, it's harmful to your health. Barney and Teletubbies programs ae too... See what did they make with my brain... |

![]() Make this a model. You could skin it to match the Human Alliance, the Burning Legion, or even make some kind of tank out of it. ![]() Or this one... |

You can make an "OMG 1337 evil walkin' mushroom!!!" too! Really nice concept. :D [edit] It's hands look like peanuts. Strange peanuts, sure. |

not sure, but i think it would be cooler to skin something humanoid i mean it's not that fun to skill animals and monsters, at least that's imo |

hmmm... well if you base it on existing concept art, you might end up with skins that are awfully similar because they're also based on the art. I suggest you take some random concept posted here but dont tell which one you used at least, so people don't all do the same overall character, and if they,re not aware of the basic idea, well it's even better! =) Anyway, I really like that knight concept, but wouldnt it end up being quite similar to a footman? I don't have anything to suggest yet. Sorry ;) |

I agree with DaemonKillar it shouldn't be art just a concept. Like alien, hi-tech, troll or something like that. If not, I like the 2nd picture Pencilgod put. You could use the lower half of the 1st one and put it on the 2nd one. |

Yeah, the concept for it should not be colored... Nor should the model follow the exact shapes of the concept details... Well, as long as the BLP is clear enought and the wrapping is not blizzard quality i´m ok with it. :D |

Good point. I wouldn't worry too much about this however, the concept used to create the model won't be shown. Also when I make a model based on a concept I often just glance at it and wing it. I don't set up ref pics and copy concept art exactly, I like adding my own personal touch. So the model won't be identical to the concept art and we won't show the concept art used. |

Will you give the model so it can be viewed with war3 editor? 'cause not everyone has 3DS max :) |

Oh yes of course, my original plan was to post a .3ds, a .mdl and a .mdx. If any one would like any other formats besides these I'll see what I can do about posting it |
