I tried to make a footman mount a horse with the new WE but you cant base your ability of the mount hippo (new one) since the data fields then dissapears. You can base it of the old one but then you cant choose target unit. You could base of the dismount and get it working because the datafields didnt dissapear. :nono: :nono: |

You dont really need to use the mount ability if you do it through triggers. Give the footman a version of storm bolt, or any other type of projectile-ish spell, with short range and 0 damage. Give it the tooltips and icons for the mount you want. The footman will storm bolt the horse for nothing, and you can have a trigger that detects when the horse is hit by storm bolt, when that happens both the footman and the horse are removed and replaced by a knight. I think there's an event for being affected by a spell now that TFT is out but I'm not really sure. I sure hope there it tho :D |

Well, that might work but theres is something wrong with it i think. It would also be a tediouse amount of work if you different units that mounted different stuff. |

Shouldn't be TOO tedious if you know what your doing. But anyway, most good maps don't come without hard work ;) |
