Skinning the Blademaster... Need Help...

Alright I just found out about the "Alpha Thingy" and how to use it... *Thanks yo KDEwolf* :D

and now I have been playing around with the Blademaster Skin...
heres what I need to know...

1. How do you get rid of the flag... I know how to remove the pole but the flag still stays...

2. After I use the Alpha thing and when I finish with the skin... I go to test it out but what happens is theres a black fin like thing on the top of his head... what causes that?????

Can someone please tell me whats going on...

GoblinZzz	1) THe flag color is on the MODEL, not the skin, so u cant remove it without modeling... 2) No idea.

Tapek	No, you need a model, not a BLP. Models are .MDX format. Check the models forum I think its in there somewhere.

GoblinZzz	The neclace CAN be alphaed, and i believe the alpha channels HAVE been removed from the model yoda is posting so you could alpha out the flag too...

Hadam	Yup... deleted the neclacke on a blademaster with alpha, worked fine, thank god. Ive always hated that necklace but not as much as that stupid flag :S why would anyone go to battle carriying a flag on their back unless they are a banner carrier right? hrmpf...:ggani:

If you need to remove the team colour or glow next time, convert the mdx to mdl and open it with notepad and look for the textures... Then look for those with replaceable ID and delete that and put the pathname for the invisible blp(UI\Widgets\Glues\GlueScreen-Slider-BackdropBackground.blp) and try if you replace the right one... some models have more than one... try yourself if which one works... That's what I did with my cryptlord model and some units without teamcolor...
