I downloaded a model that I want to attach to the hand of a unit, but I don't have 3D Studio Max, as it is in .3ds format. Could someone convert it to .mdx for me? I have attached the model. Please note I don't have the money for 3DS Max, nor do i want to get it illeagally, so I would rather have someone convert it to MDX For me.:bangH: (Edit:I used a Program I found at Infoceptor (Biturn) And found the Model has no skin. Could some one unwrap it and convert it to .mdx and give me the skin please?) |

(Bump) Does ANYONE want to help me? I would do it myself but I don't have or know how to get the software to do so. |

Far to high poly for a unit, get one from Campaign Creations or something. |

what do you mean? I saw this at the page where I downloaded it: Short Sword: Polygons : 136 Vertices : 77 And Biturn says it has 136 polies. Low poly. How is THAT too high for a unit? |

I ment attachment. An attachment should be less than 30 polygons. |

I hate to ask this but, why should an attachment be about 30 polies? I've never heard of THAT rule before. I have downloaded MDXes from Campaign Creations, but I personally think this would look better. |

You wouldn't be able to see half the detail on that sword, it would look like your units holding a silver ruler. |
