Guest | i have been editing a map alittle bit just for the fun of it trying how it work but now if i save it it saves as an w3x instead of w3m i only have the normal war3 and not the expension and still he save s it in to w3x how can i help maybe convert w3x to w3m or any other option plz help me |

If you say there is no FT unit, triggers or anything FT related I think it is safe to rename it from w3m to w3x. Just rename it and it is ok. |

Or you could just do nothing, as 1.10 war3 can open .w3x maps as long as they have no TFT things in them. |

In 1.10 Blizzard added just everything to the data files. Instead of removing the TFT stuff in RoC 1.10, they introduced a way to label somthing as TFT only or not. I played a bit around and came to the conclusion that many TFT triggers can be used in RoC too. For example the "Set Water Tinting Color" trigger. |

I know scfreak. But if he says there is no FT stuff, I guess renaming the map is easier than messing up with triggers. |

The thing is in TFT it changed the model of some unit, and sometimes names and stats. That's the prob. I don't think it's a good idea to convert back, as it's not officially supported and may mess up the file. |
