I'm a total n00b here so I just wanna know if theres a place to learn some things. Like I don't understand unwrapping and other stuff. Also i would like to know if there is a way to turn 3d files into 2d. |

for me i went to turtorials and then looked in the forums of what i wanted to do so just look into all the forums that are related to what u want to know and the tutorials |

To turn 3d files into 2d, take a screenshot of them. I'll have to refind that unwrapping tutorial... |

Thx, but can someone just tell me what unwrapping actually means? None of the tutorials explained that. I'll try looking it up in the meantime. |

It means 'flattening' a model to make a skin. Sorta like unwrapping a wrapper then laying it flat. |

Thx MasterSlowPoke, everything makes a lot more sense now. Btw, in the WE, there's the neat thing that shows you animations of each character on a gray background. Is it possible to edit that back ground? |

its possible, everything is possible to edit if you know how. But the problem is that i dont know how. and uvwmapping is what slowpoke said. In other word unwrapping is like cutting the model into peaces and give each peace a skin/texture(its easy this way). Also unwrapping is used to make it easier to texture/skin a model. |
