TheZizz has declared that version .25 for TFT is his final version of Uther Party so I decided I would continue the game. But I'm going to start from scratch and maybe rename it. I have many ideas that will improve upon Uther Party but I would like some minigames ideas. In order for this to be better than Uther Party, I feel there should be less minigames which are just "Survive as long as possible" which are only different from each other in the abilities you are given and there should be more creative and unique minigames. Any minigame ideas will be helpul and if you have other good ideas for the map in general that would be great too. |

Try to recreate other simple games like those from Mario Party or something as simple as Pong. These shouldnt be too difficult since TFT can detect when you press the arrow keys. |

Bombshell: There will be a 3x3 board, with each tile as fairly large. In intervals, there will be a bomb that hits x number of tiles. At the beginning, there will be 1 tile that gets bombed. Next, there will be 2, 3, 4, 5 etc. All units on the tile will be bombed. The bomb also is fast, but you should give a fair warning (like WARNING: TILE 3 WILL BE BOMBED). You can also trick people though, like "WARNING: TILE 1+2-3+2+4 WILL BE BOMBED!) Dragon Sleeper: A circle arena is required. There will be a dragon in the middle, and sleeps for a while. Everytime someone walks, they get points. They can keep walking and walking, but when the dragon wakes up, it will attack with a 1-hit KO fire with a range that hits any unit in the arena. It will walk for a while, and sleep again. Keep going until someone gets X points to win. I'll post more later :D |

I only own the first Mario Party but I played the 2nd a good amount and remember some of the minigame. I played the 3rd only a very short time, and i have never played the 4th. BUT I can just visit gamefaqs.com and see minigames FAQ there to learn all the mini-games and use the ideas that will be simple enough to transfer to Warcraft 3 interface :p |

Ring of Fire: There will be a circle arena, and 2 lines, going vertically and horizontally, will separate the circle into 4 parts. It will then circle around in (counter)clockwise, and peasants have to follow the direction. By any chance the peasant touch it, it will die. As time goes by, it goes faster, and faster, till everyone dies! |

howabout that cup game: theres 3 - 5 units, one of them is the special one that you have to click on... deselect all units and go into cinema mode and then start making the units mix themselves up and then the players have 5 seconds to click on the one they think is the special one it can get hard by making them move faster, adding more 'cups', making the camera go into strange angles while mixing, mixing for a longer time, etc or that sequence game where u have to repeat a sequence of keys that is given to u, and each time it gets faster and there are more keys to remember maybe a racing one too where u use the arrow keys to drive |

Maybe not possible to do with terrain deformation and shit but... Elevator Gauntlet: A half luck/half timing/strategy game in which you need to run across a series of "elevators", or platforms that rise up and down. You must run across when the elevators are at the same level. You could also cast spells on other players to slow them down, and like, move em back to the start or somethin...I dunno, just some ideas. |

Backfire: Every player has a caster. Every time a unit casts a spell, it takes a random(1-50?) amount of damage. if two or more are alive after 60 seconds, it's a draw. The spell would be like storm hammer without stun or something. dunno.. So the objective is to kill all the others and stay alive. The Lord Returns: Every player has a peasant. After some time (a random time, 30-90 secs), The Lord will arrive in one end of the rectangel area, and the unit closest to that spot wins. However, it's guarded by four catapults that have no mini range and a average attack speed(2 hits from these kill you) So the thing is you must have luck and time it correctly and be closest. The peasants wouldn't be too fast... |

Maybe you could use a thief game, where there is a stash in the middle and a thief for each player around it. Every now and then, the stash opens and you have to press a button to make your thief run in and pick up the gold inside before the other players. However, there will somtimes be something nasty inside the chest instead of gold, and this something will paralyze your thief for a short time. The first to get X amount of gold wins. |

Make game that the goal is to have most gold by set time period. to get gold you have to sell items to the shop. It should be setted up top is 3 shops and bottom is where items spawns. There should be six types of items, each with different item model so you can tell. The most expensive item rarely spawns and the cheapest item is very common. The items themselves also give a negative 'boot of speed' kind of thing, the cheapest item barely reduce your speed but the most expensive reduces your speed alot. There will be three types of neutral units. First type is a blocker kind of thing, could be cube or square model of some sort. All they do is move from left to right, blocking the players movement. There could be tw types of thse, fast and slow. The second neutral unit is a pusher type of guy. You could use tauren or ogre model or something of 'pushing guy' feeling. They walk from left to right too. When the player get near them, they get a 1 sec stun and drop one of their item. The third neutral unit is a ghost, there sohlud only be one. They're fast and moves all over the place and have no collsion. When player go near one, they get 1 sec stun and all their items drop. Also when a ghost touches an item, it disappears. The 3 shops should be all the same and could sell 1 item that works like a potion of speed. Useful when you got a heavy load or want to evade a ghost. My second idea is also get the most gold by end of the minigame. Everyone gets a peasent and like a cart, possibly using packhorse, jailwagon, tradewagon or something. The cart or depot or whatever is on the top of the minigame area, and theres gold mine at bottom. the goldmine should be alot less than number of players ie 8 players would be like 4 or 5 goldmine. Well you see the tricky thing here? You can't use a goldmine when its used by someone else! The peasent should have like 30hp and do 4-7 dmg and have a slow poison ability that slows attacked unit by 20% so they can be chased. The peasents also get a no mana 10ish sec cooldown spell thats based off of stormbolt. probably do 2 or 3 seconds. The peasents should get an inventory ability that allows them to; carry 3 items, drop items when dead, use items, sell items, get items. And there could be a merchant that walks into a road in middle of minigame that goes from left to right, goes to middle, pauses like 2seconds, and walks over the map again. Players can buy items from merchants using their own mined gold that is needed to win! Items that can be brought could be potion that heals 10,20,30, items that gives +5,+10 max health (not tome of health, more like pendant of health), attack items that gives them +2,+4+6 attack, and a boot of speed sort of. And when peasents die, they SHOULD drop all their items and respawn at their depot/cart. emote_sweat |

I love those merchant games you thought of and will definatly do something like that! However I am putting this map on hold because a friend of mine wants to help me with another project I had in mind and has already done a good bit of the work which I'm not good at (the terrain) so I don't want to just waste the work he did for me. I will get back to doing this map when I am finished though! |

Draw: Game of clicking speed ;), Evryone has a hero and an item than can be used to equip(i have a way to equip stuff in my test map here http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...threadid=21263). So a timer counts down and then says draw, if you draw your weapon before timer finishes you blow up and the last person surviving gets a point, 3 points to win. ~Talila |
