Got an Idea?

Hello ppl if you have a good idea for a campaign and maybe want help with it or are wondering if ayone wants to use your idea Post it here.:) I'm sure someone will help you with it. Make sure its very well detailed not just thown together for ppl wont want to help you with a story that only 5 lines long or just a bunch of jibberish. Well i hope to read some good ideas for campaigns!!;)

I do have a campaign idea, but i would like to do a little work before i go around telling people what it is. For if they knew what it was they could easily steal my idea, and im not the fastest campaign editor.

Hi, im new to the forums. I've also got an idea ive been thinking about for some time now. It's callded the Andorian Front. The whole story is about a continent east of Lordaeron, but west of kalmidor. There are three countries within the continent, and two Islands off the continent. Two of the countries are parts of a main country called Andoria. There is a West Andoria and East Andoria (your probly bored right now, but im trying to be as detailed as possible). There is also another country to the south, but I have to remember the name I gave it. The Two Islands to the east of the continent are both magical places good and evil. The Southern country belongs to orcs and banished andorians. The islands are home to the undead and the elves. The whole story is that the Andorian/southern country war is at its 6th year. You start off as a lowly commander (you get your own hero, too), but rise up the ranks. This is just an idea, and I still have to work on the story a bit more.

Just FYI, the continent of Kalimdor is west of Lordaeron, and in between them there's a rather large storm/vortex/evildeaththing called the Maelstrom.

Yeah, i just read all the stories in the manual. Screw that idea. Also, im sorry fer messing up that great line from monty python.

anyways, ive had an idea for a game that i was gonna do for starcraft, but it never worked out becuse starcraft dosent have a good map editor, so here is my idea

there is a great war that has been going on for 500 years, and still to no avail. The alliance of Shergan's (humans) and the Jendston's (Orcs) have been the only force that has tried to stand up to the might of the shentoniou's (undead.)

After a great discovery that the head of the shentoniou's was going to be at a newly taken over planet, called shenvon, the great alliance decided that they should strike at the head of the shentoniou's force. What they did not know was that the shentoniou's had planed out that this was going to happen and had taken certain "precautions" into this matter. The rest of this story will unfold if any of you wish to hear it.

Well, even though my idea is sorta half-baked, it could be a possibility location wise.

First of all, whats west of kalmidor, but east of lordaeron? It really doesnt say if there isnt any more land between the two,

Second, what happened to all the chunks of land when the well of eternity (first one) blew up?? They could of settled somewhere else...

Third of all, my idea could take place in a different planet, or could be non-related to the warcraft world or story.

Well, we don't know for sure that the World of WarCraft (no pun intended) is even a spherical planet.

But I was just suggesting you use some area that's already on the map. Maybe south of the Maelstrom?

One of the corners even?

or mabey inside the maelstorm is the island itself, like a dead zone in the middle of the maelstorm lies the island

remember ppl if you want something to do and cant think of anything to do go find someone who has already started something or has a idea and ask if you can help them at it. I am sure there is lots of ppl who wouldnt mind some help.;)

Some great ideas fer my story were mentioned, but I personally would like to sticking with my idea of having it take place "apart" from Blizzard's story. And I dont know what you mean of me being sarcastic, death}{bringer. Do you mean my comment of saying my idea was "half-baked"?
