Making a non-powerup tome

My map was messed up by this stupid tome powerup thing (like I'm sure many others were). I have items based on tome of intelligence but it is necessary for the hero to be able to hang on the to item until when he wants to use it. I tried changing the item type from Powerup to Charged. My question is this. Do I have to remake every single item and make it NOT based on tome of intelligence? Or will removing the intelligence increasing ability and making it increase through triggers solve the problem?

Isn't there an option on that saids Use When Pick Up or something similiar? To me, changing its class from Charged to Powerup only effects the way they're organized, but I might be wrong.

I beleive charged makes the item usable 2 or more times. Powerup is like a health vial or something. Thats what I think, at least.

Your right. There's an option called Use Automatically When Acquired, thanks a bunch.

Nope, tome are powerups by default as well as the runes and stuff from the campaigns, and potions and such are charged items. It seems LordAllOut is correct that the item classification simply determines the folder they are organized into in the object editor.
