Blight Dissapearing Problem

I have a little problem with blight - I have a trigger which creates blight. However, the blight goes away because there are no undead buildings nearby to support the blight. How do I make sure the blight doesn't go away?

Ummmm i didn't even know it goes away are you sure there are no other buildings or units near it (that might be dispelling the blight since that is a passive ability most buildings have)

Oh, I have footmen near it... that must be the problem. How do I make remove this passive ability?

HOLD ON! The blight really dissapears. There's a footman and a bloodmage in the middle of the map, but it shouldn't make the entire blight dissapear. I'm attaching the map, and I need you to see what's wrong with it. My next post contains it...

Is that the only thing near it because footmen don't dispell blight if you open up your Unit/Object editor at the top of the TFT Object editor it says Normal - abilities and in there it should have A Blight Small/Medium/Large dispell if it dispells it. Now if you look under like a town hall that shows what i'm talking about. So do you have any other unts or buildings in that area

Raptor--
when u said the blight goes away, i was under the impression that the blight was there in the first place

i loaded up ur map, and i'm pretty sure u can't make blight for neutral passive, switch it to player 1 or some player

that fixes it

Yea i didn't realize it wasn' there from start and that a neutral player didn't hold it. Try making a computer player have blight.

Hey! It actually worked!!! Thank you. Now to make it so that some units get damaged when they walk on creep. Any suggestions as to how that can be done?

Make a region on all the preplaced blight... and have unitns lose helath when they are in the region or maybe u could make the regenerate on blight abilty negative instead...

The unit editor doesn't let me put in negative negative regeneration rates.

you could possibly put in a trigger that goes off every 2 or 5 seconds, removing a little health from all characters in the blighted region. I don't think that would be too hard, and would achieve a similar effect.

there is a preference under the first menu..

File --- preferences -- general

2nd to last from the bottom ... this will allow u to put in negative numbers

good luck!
