damage per sec

ok i was wondering how u make a entering unit take damage... like i am making fire and when someone steps in it they will get burned and it turns there hero red and has an immolation effect on them...but if like player 2 steps in it it does nothing.. anyone???

i havnt made it thats why i am asking for help i tried to put it as

E:unit entering region
E:every 2 secs of game
C:entering unit equal to Footmen
A:remove 2 helath points or sumthing like that
A:set color of unit or sumthing to red
A: add specail effect immolation

Urgh.

First set an unit group called Burned or whatever

1st trig

Event
Unit enters region hell
Condition
entering unit belongs to player # equal to true
Action
Add entering unit to unit group Burned or whatever
Attack special effect Doodads\Cinematic\TownBurningFireEmitter\TownBurningFireEmitter.mdl on entering units body

2nd trig
Event
every 1.00 second
Condition
Action
Pick all units in unit group Burned or whatever and -5.00 health

3rd trig
Event
Unit leaves region hell
Condition
Action
Remove leaving unit from player group burned or whatever
Destory last created effect

After i read that in your first post i assumed you had made the trigger you were just having problems with it working and wanted those problems fixed.

ok thx it works! but what about the red effect too like in the Undead campaign on ROC with the dalaran shield and the 3 wizards

Just add an action
Unit group-pick every unit in unit and do action(change color of picked unit to red)
