My old Worms map was buggy and the death spikes were lame, it was basically an incomplete mess. Now I've fixed up all the bugs, completely redone death spikes from scratch (they are very cool now and works probably with invulnerability and switcheroo). Ok I guess I'll describe the map. You and up to three other player control a goblin sapper each, and you walk around a small level leaving mines in your trail. If you stop moving for too long then you will die, so keep on walking and try to avoid your own trail of mines and the trails of others. But there's more to it. Each round you start out with a set of 6 items, some of which are preset and the rest are random. These items have important effect to aid you in attacking others and defending yourself, and the items are as follows. Dig - Kills everything around you (mines, players, death spikes, pandas). Used to get out when your surrounded by mines are about to be hit by a spike. Death Spike - Fires a deadly homing at a random player. Can only be stopped by Dig, Invulnerabilty, and Switcheroo. Blood Hound Spikes - Fires death spikes at ALL other players. Invulnerability - Temporarily renders you immune to mines and death spikes (but not Dig) for a short period of time. Reproduce - Creates a panda which walks around leaving a trail of it's own. Switcheroo - You and another random player change positions and death spikes chasing either player will now chase the other. Blind - Other players vision becomes severely limitted for a short time. Magnet - Other players are forced to move towards you for a short time. Last person standing will win a point and a new round will begin. The first to 10 points wins! |
