what blizz did in the orc campaign, where you could go back and forth between different levels and still retain your items/exp, is that possible? and if so how might one go about doing it? |

I have only learned how to save the hero and restore him but not appear in a different area EDIT: I have found out how they used many restore triggers on that one base map but theyd save the units to different stuff (like a different category) |

nope, the triggers are for blizz maps only. |

I had to look in the evil page 2 to find this tread again, NOOooo, but liking maps is possible, I dont know way they say it only works for blizz maps:bgrun: but I am working on a D/L of two linked maps so you can see how its done, its a little buggy right now |

Linking maps is possible. Remembering what was killed, etc. the way blizz did it (including fog of war) isn't. You can workaround it with elaborate game cache stuff. |
