I have my copy of FT just finishing up the campaigns today, so I'll be ready to start work on the WE when the rest of the team is, please leave suggestions , ideas, and comments for us here

Do you have the trigger data text file Scio that you used for umswe 3.6 If so please send it to me [email protected] i need it to open my maps in tft. thanks

1) This will be the official thread for the new enchanced TFT editor.
2) I have to wait some days until I get my copy of TFT.
3) We also need to support the old RoC users. If you want I can do the new UMSWE (I think we should keep this name to avoid confusion) for RoC 1.10.

Just extract them. The UMSWE EXE files are self-executing MPQs, so you can open them with WinMPQ.

I was searching wc3x mpq to find the lastest trigger strings and data and I could not find the trigger strings txt. I then check wc3 mpq and found IT. Gess what I did not modfiy any of the 2 file trigger data or triggerstrings and put both in a UI folder in wc3 dir and opened editor and got 100s of errors. so i found the local mpq file and fould it and it works. i posted it just incase you or scio have problems find that file i shure did.

2. Buff editing (i believe this is impossible because the datafile that holds ability data in w3x file is specialized not to support buffs... still waiting for someone to PLEASE prove me wrong)
3. make options for telset specific doodads, sometimes it's nice to know which are used with which tileset, helps narrow down browsing time.
4. steep cliffs
6. Include Hidden Ablities (Attribute Bonus ect.)
5. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I'M POSTING: make multiple unit editing possible i.e. ztrl+select alot of unit in the editor and make stats - race change for all of them instead of doing it one by one.

Scio, actually... the new patch really messed up your WC3 WE.

Would you mind fixing that first? I have UMSWE 3.5, and if i open any of my maps in your editor, i have to force the program to close, since there are so many errors.

...and if I open my map in another editor, ill lose the UMSWE special crap (trigger events, actions, ect).

MPQDraft no longer works with war3, and Quantam probably won't update it.

Anyway, UMSWE can go back to it's roots (simple set of files...).

I don't think that's a good idea as you would have to implement the models into every map where you use these.

BTW, I started working on a new version of UMSWE for RoC 1.10. I just fixed the triggers GetLocalPlayer, DisplayTextToPlayer,...

I was planning to just discontinue RoC UMSWE, but it looks like you guys want it back, I'll have to see what all the fuss is about the new problems. Also it will go back to its original ONE version, so plz vote here for what one you want it to be for FT AND RoC

ill make order like i did b4, pull down presets but still a string. Most of the files can be easily transfered over, and I can use the simple text converting programs I wrote in C++ to adapt the files for FT.

OMG, blizzard didnt even add the Player Leaves event, please Scio, I need this event!

I dont see a need in a ROC umswe, just one for tht to open up all our old maps, with the same features.
