ok, I got the proction files .. MPQ2k Wont load it just opens.. than closes in a flash.,
can someone help me please?

I bet you tried running MPQ2k (the EXE) in Windows.
You need to run MPQ2k in the DOS prompt or with a parameter (make a shortcut to do so).
Just search for a thread about MPQ2k - couple of people have that 'problem'.

Or download the GUI. DOS is too painfull for a simple map protection.

Bah. DOS is easy. People just are too used to graphical interfaces nowadays. Most people aren't even capable of running a program with a parameter correctly...
Good old DOS times... at least you were able to find and fix problems instead of just accepting them back then. Removing the AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS was the first step Microsoft took to steal your souls.

Yeah, but Win98 and later versions seem to absolutely ignore them. Sadly a friend of mine botched those files off my harddisk and I can't fix them because I can't find my DOS mouse and CD ROM driver. Argh. Can't play Crusader: No Remorse anymore because of it.
