Adding a Black Mask

Okay heres the problem, I have a line a trees. You walk on one side of the trees and dont do anything on the otherside. I dont want to be able to see the empty area between tree lines. I added boundary's with the Terrain editor but you can still see through the boundary's. Is there a way to add a black mask without having to make a million regions and do a visibility modifier? Since regions can only be made in a squares and rectangels and not even angled squares it would need to define a ton of regions. Is there a faster way.

Hmm ... maybe you could increase the terrain one level up. So the units cant see what up there is going on and the units who are up there cant see down when there are trees arround the terrain :D ^^

hehe yeah i had that problem in my map so i raised the terrain on all edges of my map except for where you can leave...that way you cant see past it. plus it gives it a nice mountainous effect :D
