Switch Background animation?

You have so many forums so i didnt know which one to post in, but i'll try this one. I was just wondering, can you somehow switch the background animation in the menus of TFT. It happens to be that way that i like the old on much better. And i wonder if its possible to change it without have to use programs that counts as cheats on bnet. I have seen many custom animations in other campaigns and i think it should be possible, the only thing thats hard then is to actually find the old animation :).

Zifnab	Er, well since AFAIK all anyone outside Blizzard has access to is that screen shot, I'd say you're SOL.

Raptor--	+, its not an actual animation thats being played, its a 3d model which would have to be replaced... and #1 wouldn't u have to have that model and, #2 its likely hardcoded in there

Raptor--	hmm, it might be gamma correction, but mine looks A LOT brighter -- less gothic

Sen	The one released with TFT has non-translucent water, is much brighter, and lost the green aura. There are other smaller differences as well. Was that a picture or was that a 3D scene? The old one looks far better, IMO. Bright just isn't right for this image.

Xaran Alamas	hmm I'd say the main differences are that the old one was at night so someone could probably make it by changing the sky texture for the new one and making it's lighting darker...

JESxXChaoticXx	you want to change it heres how to open the war3x.mpq find the file it will be something like pictures or models/singleplayer/mainscreen.mdx there will be the single player ones there to just edit them and u have it:D

Jedi_r8	Hm, looks like the only way to change it is to dig up the model and change it, something im not very good at :/ Someone said that they had that picture, where did you buy your copy?
