OK, I have a few questions. I'm trying to edit a map and I ran into the following problem... 1. I can't seem to give a regular unit an invatory. 2. Once I'm able to do that, will that unit be able to use items in it's invatory if it is not a hero? I'm trying to avoid the big hero glow. 3. How Do i get the Unit to start the game with a specific item in it's invatory from the start? Thank you in advance for any help. |

1.) its an ability that requires an upgrade you can probably get rid of it (thats for TFT anyway) 2.) Units can't use items in their inventory (Maybe you can fix that not sure) 3.) same way you did it with heroes. |

Actually, you can give a unit the ability inventory(hero). This I believe does grant the unit the ability to use the item and have an inventory. The upgrade is a seperate ability, which only lets the unit carry the item. Just make sure you give the unit the inventory(HERO) one and not one of the others. As for giving the unit an item, just use the trigger under hero create item and give it to (hero). I think that's how it's worded, but you should see it. |

Ok, I just tested it to make sure, and yes, the inventory(hero) ability does work. You can pick up and use items. And it seems they can use runes to. However, they can't use tomes, because unless they are a hero, they can't raise str, int, etc. If you try to pick up a tome with a plan unit given the inventory(hero) ability, the map crashes. Or it did for me. Hope this helps. |

Your right it does work, I figured out whY i was haveing problems. It didn't work for me the first several times because for some reason I needed to Save the map before i tested it. If I didn't save it, the invatory wouldn't work for some reason. odd, but I can deal with it. Thank you for the input! |

You need to save the map to test it with the new changes.... |

You do? Funny, I use the test map button all the time and don't always save my changes before hand and it works. :) Of course, I wouldn't suggest you do this in case the computer crashes because of something you did...but...:) |

well thats all fine and dandy but if it's hero glow your trying to get rid of, just use a non-hero model. if you use a normal unit with an inventory, he'll still have a glow if you use a hero model on him. so... just make him a hero with a normal unit model... :bgrun: |
