Failed DH

I know there are alot of DH skins out there, but i decided to do one myself, i even put a little story behind it:

When a prospective Demon Hunter is blinded and given his demonic energys, some turn out to be weaker than first suspected. As such the energys scar their bodies, forcing them to wear heavy platemail armour. Most are banished to outland, where they bind their pacts with demons, growing stronger and more chaotic. Due to their closeness to the near godlike power of the demon warlords, they become stronger, faster, more agile than normal, they also gain their eyesight back, although they new percive energy signatures, not light. The runes that cover their armour show the pacts and promises they have made to the demons, and their burning eyes and hatred of all living things remains an everlasting reminder of their foolish idolism.

I know the face looks bad, its the way it unwraps (cause hes ment to have a blindfold, so i gotta work on that, apart from that any other ideas?

i think more shading in the armor and the eyes further apart

i know about the eyes, i plan to fix that later :\ anyway heres a piccy of him on high res (the others were on medium) and i'll add some more texture and shading too the armour.

You should retake the pics on high res again. The symbol in the middle on the blades needs to be fixed. Change his pants more they need some type of war paint or something. Armor looks pretty good.

heres a slight update, i've added some runes too his pants (dunno if you can see them clearly) and i've fixed his eyes a bit, also added some shadeing.

Redid the chest runes, then got a friend (Siphon) to put them on cause i didnt know how ://// and i redid his blades, slight changes, fixed his face a bit more ect... Comments anyone?

Remove the runes, they add too much confusion.

Just completely change the pants and you're good.

i know it says ultimate DM, i couldnt bring myself to call me failed ://// hehe, anyway thanks for the comments, i'll fix the pants up and post an update.

ok, heres the final skin (hopefully) unless everyone hates it i'm gonna leave it like this, i ran his pants thru my chainmailer (a thing i made awhile ago) cause i couldnt think of anything else to do with them.

Me likey. You did a good job of adding eyes, it's the best I've seen since Kiloz.

the eyes were damn hard cause of the wierd way they wrap, it was very much a matter of "one pixle makes this look good or bad" i spent about 45 mins on those eyes, trying to get them in the right place emote_sweat but i like the finished product, i'll post the .blp here for download if anyone wants it, i might also use it in a campaign.

... for coming up with demons for YOU. Please, please, at least be CORTIOUS, give satan some credit for all this, since he invented demons in the first place :nono: . Is it so hard to at least say that you were inspired by satan? emote_sweat
