I know this has probably been asked ten million times... but...

Is it possible to change unit colors to something other then the basic? Other then the ones that are already used by players/neutral...

If it has been asked/answered before sorry for asking again... I know how annoying it is to tell people over and over again

Well, if there is a way, the people here will find it! I am really pleased with the amout of effort shown here by the moderators/programmers/modders.

You might consider extending the life of specific colors by using custom player colors. I am experimenting with this now. You could be player 2 (blue), but have all of your buildings grey. Your flags would be blue on your barracks (if you were human), but your roof would be grey. I am not an expert at triggers, but you *might* be able to rig a system with triggers where if player 2 (blue) creates X structure, turn X structure grey. I know that if you change the color of a hero to another (custom) color, (and you place that hero on the map ( a non-melee map, obviously ), that even if the hero dies, it will retain its custom color upon resurrection.

Hope that helps some!:D

I think he's asking about custom colors - colors not used as player colors yet (means other than blue, red, green, yellow, orange, teal, grey, brown, black, etc.).
It might be possible by changing some palettes (that's how it worked for StarCraft) or a couple of text or slk files. I doubt it's easy though.
