Well, ok it doesnt actually convert to .wav, but it records the sound created by MIDIs. For example, im playing my midi in the background. Before I play them, I start recording the sound, and bam, by the time it's done, im done, and I have a .wav copy of a .mid!

THE FILE COMES WITH A TEXT DOCUMENT. READ IT OR YOU CANNOT USE PROGRAM PROPERLY!

Download the program here

And... to make your .wavs smaller, find an mp3 encrypter.

Here are a few tips when converting MIDI ->WAV->MP3

1. You can make it quite a low quality mp3, cos midi tends not to be as dynamic as real sound, so there isn't as much artifacting
2. If you want to record a midi as a REALLY low quality mp3, reduce the bass, use very trebley instruments, that will also reduce artifiacting
3. Make use of the repeat function in WE, don't make your midi's unessecerally (badly spelled) long.

Hope this is usefull

Cheers!

you try going online with a modem connection after 2 years of using ISDN, you'd get pissed off when pages didn't load fast enough too!

Anyhoo, can a moderator (is it Magic for this forum?) Delete the 2 unwanted posts, and this one!

Cheers!

Lol! Everyone wants programs! I can import midis w/o any programs, anything! Just go import sound > your midi won't show up, but type in the name of your midi file (including the .midi bit at the end) > Click OK > Click 'Use music' > DONE!

I worked this out myself, works with pretty much anything! Just type in the name of the file and the program will try to open it.

i can't get that to work, the midi is unrecognized and put into my imported files list, but not usable by triggers

FL4 studio r0x0rs...

full vst support...
if you use alot of effect generators such as the waves 4.0 plugs it makes it an indispencible tool...

I use Sonar with Gigastudio to create using MIDI based compositions, that way it is also REALLY easy to improve a MIDI to the point where it sounds like it is a full fledged mp3. :)
