Erm, where do I add the skin to a unit? I have the .blp file in place, but I don't want to simply overwrite it, I just want to put the skin file on it in the World Editor. How do I do that? I see no data for the skin, just model... |

There is possibly an easier way but I used to have to hex edit the model so it pointed to the texture name I assigned. Then I loaded both the model and the skin into the map. |

On my site there is a tutorial: Having Multiple Skins of One Model. You should use that to help you. The link is in my sig. |

Okay, but now I have a different question. It's about modeling but it's still kind of with this issue. Why do some models I have work and some not? Like, it says it can't load (file), but for others it can load them. It's not that the file name or path is wrong, either, and I've double checked it plenty of times... EDIT: Oh and, another thing that is pissing me off... I put a skin file in for Jaina (units\human\jaina\jaina.blp) and it worked, but it wasn't even a skin meant for Jaina, now that I deleted it, it still keeps her skin the same. So it's still f'ed up, but I can't get her original back... |

Something wrong with the model files, like a nonexistant skin. Why did you save a skin as the Jaina skin when it wasn't for her? To get it out of WE, just remove the skin from the folder Units\Human\Jaina\Jaina.blp in your Warcraft III main directory. |

Did that, but had to restart WE to make it take effect. Well, I was just testing the skin to see if it worked, that's why. I tried it on the unit it was meant for, but noooo, it want's to go be gay like that. If what I'm about to do doesn't work, I'm just deleting all this crap, nothing ever works for me as it is meant to... |
