Ok I'm really getting a sort of "writer's block" here. I've run out of ideas for spells mainly. Only hero things I need are names, really. I have all my models picked out(beastmaster model could be changed), as well as their roles assigned. Spells ideas needed: Good Guys: Priest is pretty much finished. Razormaid needs an active and a passive skill(ultimate is finished). Jaina needs EVERYTHING, lol. Berzerker needs 3 spells, including ultimate. Beastmaster needs everything. Pyromancer needs 1 offensive spell. Alexis(Sentry) needs 1 passive skill. Sentinel(spellbreaker) needs 1 skill(passive or a buff) Sylvanas needs everything. Bad Guys: Revenant needs everything. Phantasm needs 1 skill and an ultimate. Illidan just needs a class name. Succubus needs 2 skills(I have an ultimate and Drain Life) Naga Royal Guard Needs 1 active skill and an ultimate(has 2 passives) Overlord has nothing. Naga Sea Witch needs 2 skills and an ultimate. Dark Ranger needs everything. Lich needs 1 buff type skill. Attatching Pictures of the heroes. |

hmm Random Hero feature with only 9 heroes isn't a great idea. Many probs to get double heroes. I have one for the naga royal guard : Flood, Based on stampede but with the crushing wave FX |

Guest | What are razormaids skills? hard to finish a character if u dont know his others^^ hmm anyway, for the Succubus: Charm! Make it a 3 steps skill, with different cooldown and manacost. Puhh.. name? Dark Promise or something the next skill i can think of is Kiss of the Succubus: 100 or 150 range skill. _really_ high damage spell or an edit of cripple (Succubus have the ability to drain lives with kisses..) |

Random checks if that character has already been chosen. It will not choose the same character twice... in fact, during my debugging, when I gave myself 10 wisps, if I chose random after all characters were selected, it would crash war3 due to endless loop =P Thanks for the suggestions. I like that super-close nuke idea for the succubus. RazorMaid's skills so far: Fan of Knives (to be replaced) Windwalk (high cooldown, low duration) Razor Fury(ultimate): completely trigger based. Teleports to every enemy unit in a range of 750 and casts a 75 damage Fan of Knives. .25 seconds between teleports, uses blink animation. Happens VERY fast. Here's a screenshot, but it's really hard to take a good screen of it as it happens so fast. |

Priest: Holy Light - of course Teleport - ala DotA Power Up - cripple edit, adds damage to friends Solar Flare(inspired by DBZ) Flashes bright light and blinds enemy units in a range of 1500(trigger based AoE curse) Pyromancer: Meteor Storm - one shot blizzard for heavy damage, graphics changed to infernal birth, makes a crater on impact Hellfire - flames randomly attack enemies - invis feral spirit with fire trap attack graphic Flamestrike(ult - need something better, imo, don't like using stock spells) Alexis(no class name yet, Sentry model): Moon Glaive - generic nuke based on shadow strike with buffart and side effects removed(better than using storm bolt cuz of it's split second stun) graphics are a huntress glaive. Shadow Strike(need to rename, nothing like stock SS) - heavy trigger action - adds damage to next attack by creating shadows of herself. If you've ever played any of the Mortal Kombats, this looks like Johnny Cage's shadow kick/punch. Protector(rename, ultimate) - creates 8 protectors(wisps) that circle around Alexis(this was hell to trigger, trust me) they cannot be controlled by the player(due to trigger moving them all the time). The protectors will fire lightning bolts randomly at any enemy units in a range of 600. (I'll attatch a screen for this one) Used big bad voodoo as a dummy spell - still haven't changed the tooltip =P Sentinel(spellbreaker): Blade Throw - generic nuke with spellbreaker's missle art - based on shadow strike(see moon glaive, above) Shield Block - gives a % chance to ignore physical damage taken - hardened skin edit, defend caster graphics when it's working. Spell Steal(ultimate) - I think this is a good ability, but would be powerful enough to warrant an ultimate in the DotA setting. more to come... |

Phantasm: Phase Shift(rename) - 3 levels with increasing duration, graphics changed to Death Coil Target(the impact). Illidan: Feedback - like the stock spell, but deals no extra damage 5/7.5/10 mana burned per hit. Spell Shield - like the item ability. 75 mana, 60/40/20 sec cooldown. Frenzy - 33%/66%/100% IAS / 10%/20%/30% move. 45 seconds, 60 sec cooldown. Telekill(ultimate) - immobilizes target for 12 seconds(heroes: 4). Teleports and attacks. Based on entangling roots with different graphics. Trigger based for the tele/attack. Succubus: Drain Life - unchanged as of yet. Defile(ultimate) - edited starfall. edited graphics + special effects (screenie attatched) Naga Royal Guard: Cleaving attack - stock Strength of the Tides - +5 str/3 levels Naga Sea Witch: Thinking she's gonna be lighting based. Lich: Death Coil - of course =P Teleport - ala DotA that's it so far... here's Defile in action: |

Guest | for the naga.. as primary damage spell give her a frostnova edit Thunderstrike or something.. use graphic of thunderclap (i got something like this.. looks phat^^) for impact with radius 400 - but abit lower dmg cause of the huge radius. maybe u wanna trigger a lightning coming down before that |

yo zoi! i have a beastmaster in my map and i was thinking you might wanna chk it out... nothing really fantastic there but it fits the title "beastmaster"... i've attached the picture below showing the skills... for summon wolves and quilbeasts, there are generally 2 kinds of each that will be summoned... those r custom units and becos of the length limit, i cant really put a better description than the number of units... :( but im sure you can make something more awesome than what i have there... :Dbtw, was thinking of a hero skill called chain glaive where it works like "upgrade moon glaive" but you can add points to it and additional points increases the number of bounce... and of cos, it has to be autocast... :P anywayz, for your reference: |

I like your idea Vex. I just hope I can get it to work. I remember they were trying to do that for the mageslayer in DotA, but couldn't ever to get it to work. It might work w/ the new orb of lightning. I'll see if I can get it to work. I tried your idea w/ the crushing wave stampede. It kinda didnt' look right, but I think I might do a variation of it. Hmmm... I think I got something in mind for your suggestion, Bloodlust. Need to play with it a little, tho. I'll be nice and do the Sylvanas... Energy Arrow "When Sylvanas fires a Fusion Arrow, it teleports a arrow from her quiver into her hand, making reloading quicker" Mana cost per shot: 8 Effect: Increases attack speed by 25/25/50% for 2 seconds. Precision "Practice makes perfect" Passive Effect: adds a 8/16/25% bonus to damage. Blur "In danger, Sylvanas can erect a field of invisibility around herself, making her very difficult to hit" Activated, cost per second: 30/25/20 Effect: Adds a 15/35/55% chance to dodge enemy attacks. Vile Arrow "Sylvanas can launch a magic arrow that deals massive damage and spawns a spirit elf from it's corpse" Cooldown: 60 seconds Mana: 175 Damage: 750 Spirit Elf: 600 hp, 40-40 magic damage, 1.0 cooldown, 310 movement, 5 divine armor, lasts 25 seconds. |

I have one! Dunno if you already did this, I didn't read all of it, but here goes: It's a spell, trigger based, that is like charm but with a timer. And to show how long 'till the unit gets reverted, make a floating text over that unit that is refreshed every .01 sec, and that displays the amount of seconds left. I based it of hex, and then used the charm animation by triggers. Real nice actually. |

I like the ideas for Sylvanas. Is an activated evasion possible though? Nice Arche, sounds pretty sweet. Keep 'em coming =) |
