If everything goes well and I get enough time, ~ 1 month. Scene 1 is almost 100% flawless and scene 2 is halfway done. I've got most of the required skins, and terrain is almost done too. |

ehm dk?? 1 month? @ the hp ... scene 1 : 100% 5 hours scene 2 : 50% 5 hours (or something like that) so... 1 month = 3 hours? O_o |

Insan said he took 2 months for 3 hours... But I bet the import manager is helpin out, cause now whenever you want to see how the scean would look with a new skin, you dont have to reimport everytime you save it. |

Well , you posted Quote:
but on http://cotn.wc3campaigns.com (or hovever) on the left side is : Scene 1 : 100% @ 10:06 Scene 2 : 57% @ 5:36 Skins : 75% Terrain 85% done so 15 hours for 75% ... do you only sit in front of your computer 5 hours a month? oO |

LOL :ggani: Scene 1 : 100% @ 10.06 means that the scene is 100% done (=finished) and it lasts 10 minutes and 6 seconds! Scene 2 : 57% @ 5:36 means that the scene is 57% done and lasts 5 minutes and 36 seconds as of now! When the scene is completed, it will last longer ofcourse! I'd also like to say that it's not unnatural that a good (and long) War3 cinematic takes several months to complete! Much work goes into terraining (more then in normal maps and certainly a lot of work goes into CotN terrain!), and even more work goes into triggers and cameras! IF you've ever tried to make a cinematic yourself, you'll know that it takes a lot of time, work and patience to time everything right with the music, and that there will always ocme up unforseen things you'll have to fix ;) So just wait some more, cause like Necrosis said: Quote:
Keep up the good work DK, I'm sure CotN 5 will again be astonishing :D ~ Nuladion |

Another thing is that during summer I don't like to sit in front of the computer while I can go outside. Right now I'm almost always gone, so I prolly get to work on it for 2 or 3 hours on it at late night. |

As I said it a shity weekend. Raining.:( But after rain come sun. Let stop harassing him with question like how many week remaining now? We should make an engine that will block the sun on his city(which it is?) then he will have no choice but to go at his comp or change city. [off topic] What do I need to get hosted at wc3campaigns? I dont see any 'host a project' link. I think I must made a request via email to the website staff but I dont know to how and what should I do(like show my map to the staff and they decide if i deserve to get host. Tell me what you did Deamon.[/off topic] |
