Quick Question About Models

I am changing the Sorceress model but I'm not sure if this will work - I am going to remove the armor on her shoulders and the cape on her back.

The reason I don't know if this will work or not is because the game forces those parts of the Sorc to be colored. I tried modding the skin so that those parts would just be transparent but it didn't work.

So just wondering if deleting those parts of the model will not crash the game or anything.

nop, , if you SCALE the vertices to 0 then nothing bad will happen, although you must know that the cape has a animation regardless how the cape is been modelled (so if cape is totally 0 scaled, it will still move around and spreading around=not a good sight). You can either remove animation (by setting animation of the cape bones to zero, means deleting it) or just simply put the cape waaaay back below the hero (means like 100 feet underground)
