Hmmm, I want to make a slow motion scene in my cin, but it won't work! I want all the units to slow down, but not the music. I have Animation - Change Illidan's animation speed to 10.00% of its original speed. Animation - Change Demon's animation speed to 10.00% of its original speed Destructible - Pick every destructible in Region04 and do [u](Animation - Change (Picked Destructible)'s animation speed to 10.00% of its original speed. However, when I go in-game, everything is still normal. Any ideas why this is? |

This didn't belong in the tutorial thread, and I thank you for letting me test out the "split thread" function for once :ggani: . Anyway, I don't know what could be wrong with the animations, maybe they reset speed each cycle or something. Anyway, you should probably open up VoodooO's contest winning HoE map and see how he did it, assuming it's unprotected (like I could find out, pfft). If it's protected, you can try my method of periodic pauses every .02 seconds. -Insaniteus- |

ya but that will screw up the music. Make sure your event isnt map initilazation. |

I'm not sure why that would be. I just did a test map with the Event as Map Initialization and simply set the Animations to 10% of their original speed. I also set the Game-Speed to Slowest. I'm not sure if that's important or not, I'll go check it out right now and then edit. EDIT : Yeah, it is important. I just ran my test map without the Game-Speed on slowest and the Slow Motion didn't work. So be sure to do that if you want it to work. |

Hrmmm... here's what I did and it worked perfectly (I'm on TFT by the way, I don't know if it makes a difference or if you're also on TFT, but just so you know...) Anyway, this is what I did: Events: - Map Initialization Conditions: - None Actions: Animation - Change Illidan (Evil) 0000's <gen> animation speed to 10.00 % of its original speed. Animation - Change Raider 0001 <gen>'s animation speed to 10.00 % of its original speed. Animation - Pick every destructible in Region 0000 and do (Animation - Change (Picked destructible)'s animation speed to 10.00 % of it's original speed. Game - Set game speed to Slowest *** That's all I had to do and it worked perfectly when I ran it... Here's the map I used (I threw in some destructibles and a couple commands to gimme some control over the units... other than that its exactly what I said up there). |

Yeah, yeah I know. Sorry about that... the server was running kinda slow at the time and I clicked submit a couple times before I realized that it wasn't not working it was just loading really slowly... Anyway, all deleted now... Sorry about that. |
