I am currently making a Hero Arena, the important work will be on items, as the heroes will usually have the original abilities or artisticly modiffied versions of them (Frost bolt, flood, Summon Sea Elemental)

I made like 67 new items including Items with new Trigger spells, new items with different combinations of abilities and artifacts.

I even made the Spellbook to work with random spells

But I am currently losing the chances to have good item Ideas and I need like 100 more items.

So if anyone of you have a good idea for an item please post them, I noticed that my map has a lot of artifacts so avoid posting powerful item ideas (But you may want to post one or two) Whatever your idea is about it will be welcomed (You can post new trigger spells abilities, new passive abilities combinations and modiffied versions of active abilities)

here's my input ,not sure if these are possible though... some i have been experimenting without success (but you guys might have better luck as my scripting knowledge isn't tat good)... :)

--items--
1. trap of chain lightning - a trap that can be laid which will autocast chain lightning for 5 times when an enemy is within casting range (i got this idea from the lightning sentry of assassin in diablo 2 exp)...

--abilities--
2. chain glaive - hero skill that can increase the number of bounce hits of the hero (hero attack has to be missle-bounce). each additional skill point increases a bounce hit and additional bounce reduces in damage. this skill will not be passive but rather autocast and will take some cost of mana...

I don't have TFT yet, but I'll just try anyway. Negative auras that affect the enemy are always fun, like they have a lower health reg. rate or do less damage. I once saw a spell that killed an enemy instantly, but you took half its health in damage, which I thought was pretty interesting. Unfortunetly, you can't cast it with full health since its based off of Death Pact, but it's still not bad. And maybe a random direction blink would be nice (just use a dummy spell and teleport to a random spot in the arena so that no one can escape). And a Metamorphosis spell that changes your hero completely for a minute or so would be interesting.

lol the evil twin, kinda like those tennis players

shud do a evil twin of the sentry ward, like it creates the black stuff and you cant see when ur under it but the enemy can.... dunno how it work, and i guess its a pretty stupid idea, but its a input non the less

I made it to work!, Just changed the orb of slow to cast Chain lighting and gave that ability to the new ward.

Ward of Elune: Once placed, when the ward detects an enemy unit, it casts starfall. permaent. dies when starfall finishes casting.

I tried it and I couldn't, also I am running low on ward models.
Keep posting Ideas I still need like 52 items.

Here is some ideas:

Ward of Poisin: All enemys in a range will loss HP. Maybe 5 each 2. second.


Big Size Book: When the item is used on a unit, the unit grows big and strong (maybe 250 extra HPs).


Crazyness Trap: When units is entering a selected aura, then all of them gone crazy, and attack and follow all unit around them.

Plague Talisman,
Can be reused many times and with a cooldown, creates a disease cloud over the target area, or something similar to that...

Poisin of Clone: Creates a clone of the hero who uses it, just without any hero spells, and only 355 HP.


Stone of Holy Light: Creates a holy light around the hero, that damage all undead units.


Blood of Mannoroth: All Grunts and Raiders in a selected aura become Chaos Orcs.


Soul Diamond: Ensnares a undead enemy in a magical diamond, who comes out when the hero dies, or after 3 minutes.

Those are some good Ideas, I will try them, except for the Blood of Mnoroth, cause I don't think ther would be a lot of orc units there and the soul diamond is like a Undead go out of my map Message. Thanks.

How about som weapon/armor items that buff certain stats but reduce other stats. Like a Suit of Armor that is +6 armor but minus -3 agility. The only problem is since armor is based off of agility (it is isnt it??) making an item that gave +6 armor but minus 3 agility would in the end only give +3 armor while losing attack sped. So if you wanted the armor to better you would just have to take in acocunt how much will be taken away anyways since you reduce agility. Also you could maybe make it reduce move speed although it must be really good if people are going to sacrifice attack speed and move speed. And it also might do you better to base it off of percentages like gloves of haste. So that it increases damage reduction by 50 percent but reduces attack and move speed by 10 percent each. Although basing it off of percentage may be unfair to guys whoi start out with low armor and damage reduction because that would mean a dude with low armor in the first place would get less of a advantage by buying this armor than a unit who starts with more damage reduction...
