Everything was working fine. Then 2 days ago I woke up got into WE and found that WE was running SOOOOOOOOO SLOW. 2 1/2 to load. Then I found that the map took like 10 minutes. Later I discovered WC3 runs slow as does previous versions of WE. When I am in WC3 running the campaigns its like im playing the worst lagged BNET game of my life. I have tried the normal stuff. Defragmented my HD. Complete new install of ROC then TFT. Turned off every NON microsoft Startup program and init. Turned off every unnecessary task. Reinstalled 9.0a directx. I have XP. 2.0 GHZ, 384 MB RAM. All my other applications including SC appear to be working. I have tried cursing that didn't work either. Made me feel better though. I am currently working with blizzard on this but so far no answers. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

well... concidering you're using XP you could try a system restore to a date before the screw-up.. or you could reinstall XP.. I'm not an expert but I hope that helps. |

K people stay on topic. It isn't Windows XP, as he just said it was running fine. Do you have any 3rd party editors installed? TFTWE/UMSWE? What about patches? Have you updated to 1.11? Explain what you did before a little better. |

take of high-high-high-high-high gfx setting, if it's not that it's probbably a 3rd party editor that make all units in one menu or something of that sort. It could also be that your map is almost dione and there's alot of action on the screen at once, try hiding some layers. |
