Name: Ulterior Footman Wars (for lack of a better name) Genre: Advanced Footman War Version: 1.1 (beta) Me and a friend co created this map, as a way of improving upon the seeming mass of crappy footman war versions that are circling around battle.net. 85 triggers, 80 variables, 92 doodads, 124 custom units, 96kb and 347 versions later here we are. So what does this map offer over any other version of footman wars? -Multiple game and spawn modes, the host decides upon the start of the game (using dialog boxes) what victory condition the game will be and what type of unit will be spawned. In theory there are a total there are 25 different game possibilities (not much, but a lot more than 1). -Easy to use dialog interface for selecting game options and player race Pretty much all footman war versions involve using a wisp to build a race building, then going to a farm and training your hero there or something. All you have to do here is click on one of the four pretty buttons -Unique hero revival system Basically this allows you to determine how long it will take to revive your hero, and the resulting cost. This way u can get your hero back faster if your willing to pay the price and that if you are broke u can still revive your hero. -Its protected! Hopefully there won't be a zillion clones around This is still in its beta version, so if you experience any bugs or imbalances please post them. Were planning to add quite a bit next version. Please at least download this map before criticizing it because of its genre, please post any of your thoughts on this map (especially improvements or bugs). EDIT: Just had a thought, do any of you get vanishing tool tips when another player is defeated? Patch 1.10 should fixed that, but if it didn't plz say so |
