What makes the file size bigger by more, triggers or doodads? Currently my map is slightly over 100 kb and i still have about as many triggers as ive already done and a large amount of doodads. The map size is classified as large but do you think this will end up being too big of a file size by the time im done? |

alot of doodads is worse than a whole buncha triggers I may be wrong but I believe triggers are simply text going about a code to make something happen, not much space needed, consider it ike a notepad thingy, plain ole .txt file is like smaller than pea but doodads takes up space causes lag etc. (lag if alot of doodads are in, alot alot) |

yea its always hard to try and keep file size down, and you dont wanna get rid of all ur cool pretty dodads:ggani: I think variables add a bit, like they are only 1 kb each but in mine and my mates map we got ova 100 so overall it does add up |

around 500kb map and below shouldnt be any problem. Anything under 1 mb isnt really a problem unless the person has 56k. |

When it says large that means the terrain size not file size. 100k is tiny for file size. Dont worry about file size unless it gets over 1 meg. 300-500 is about normal for maps with much to them. |
