i have a custom weapon that i will attach to a hero so he holds it. However i want him to hold a sword by its handle and an axe by the middle of the handle. How can i specify where the hero holds the weapon?

is it in WE

is it in the modeling program?

Anyone help this guys. I want to know too how to attach a blademaster sword to arthas using trigger.

Note: In TFT theres a blp for the fire brewmaster(he use that file to have the skin of his swords from the blademaster) So i was thinking theres must be mdl mdx file about the sword or something.

Anyway How do i attach a blademaster sword to the right and using trigger? I know it in special effect, right hand attach point but where can I find the sword mdl?

There is no sword model, you gotta get it out yourself.

here take a look at this SS, its in the modeling program, whereever it intersects the teh axis is where the unit will grip it.

simple. You could use items that represents the weapon (sword in this case...using orb o fire is a good choise) , and then allow target attach to be :

Hand left

or

hand Right

===========================================

this should allow you to attach models to the hand (note that every model has a different pivotpoint to attach to....so having a weapon model to have the target be on the center axes is not always a guaranty that it work out 100%)

I think the center of the SFX model is where it will be attached to the hand.
