I need a program that is free and will let me a cut a portion out of an mp3 so I can use it within my map. Can't seem to find one though. Any suggestions?

Windows comes with a really crappy audio clipper...

just use sound... i think its recorder? sound recorder...

its in apps section on start menu...

then position it to where you want to clip... and either select.... "delete b4 position" or "delete after position"
course... you can only get within seconds...

not milli seconds...

try Acoustica, it's really good for clipping purposes.
It shows the mp3 files as graphics, then all you have to do is select the area that you want to take away and delete it, then just move around the parts that remain as you like.
