So I am making a world of warcraft rpg but I dont want it to just be some random quests that arnt really part of a plot. This means I want all the quests (im aiming for at least 20 in the first version) to follow a plot line. Some of the quests will also give you an item that you will need (such as a lumberjacks axe to chop down wood since you need wood for boats) but they will also go in the storyline. I want some people's opinions on how the storyline would go (this is a post TFT timeline). Any suggestions? (note: there will also be an option to become a gamemaster (through a password that you would get after youve done a few of the quests.) so, the game master will be able to make up quests to) **Some sort of SPOILER below this for those who havent finished the campagin** I was thinking of something where kiljaden comes and reincarnates illidan (cause hes a demon and can do that) and then he tortures illidan for failing him (cause hes a demon and would do that) and then turns illidan into something like the lich king and has him gather the naga and the naga and the undead are fighting but the alliance and the horde are the two opposing factions that the players are in and the legion returns and all that good stuff then the naga and the undead are fighting and the heroes from the horde and the alliance have to fight both the naga, the undead, and the opposing hero faction in an aos type quest where you have to destroy the undead and naga barracks or something like that. |

Word. Er, I mean yah. Some ppl not done with Campaign won't know about Illidan or possibly even Kiljaeden. |

kiljaeden has been around since warcraft 2, maybe even warcraft 1 but im not sure. (he was in the manual for warcraft 2 and 3) |

But are you getting my point?!? :D And yah I do think taht would be good (not nessiceraly THAT storyline) but having a main one. |

lol i havnt even started the campaigns, ive been all up with b net, so yea, kinda a bugga i read this post, plz to all be more carfull cause i plan to get round to the campgins....someday |

Please, the only thing I know about it is that Illidan dies but thats enough. I dont want to spoil my single player campaign. |

********SPOILER, Do not read past this point********** Here's an idea. Maiv(sp?) is still hunting Illidan. In her zeal to catch him she opens another portal from Outland to an abandoned area of the Night elf Region. She uses this portal to gather re-enforcements and wage war on the Naga/Blood elfs that are still there. The only problem is that this portal is letting evils escape and its also ripping up Outland again (poor land). Anywho it would be the player's role to discover what Maiv is up to and close the portal. Or something along those lines. **********Its safe************** |
