I have an mp3 I want to play when the game has finished loading on the loading screen and you get the "press any key to continue". How do I set this up? |

Play it on map initialization. |

I tried that, the sound doesn't play. Then I read somewhere about adding a wait command. Now the sound plays, but only after you press space and the map opens up. I want it to play on the loading screen when the loading bar finishes. |

There is a site or post somewhere on here with that information. Lemme check. *Edit*- As I thought, I found it under the tft we faq sticky on this forum. Here's the info it had: Sound Q: How do I set a sound or 3d sound in the loading screen? A: Event - Map Inintialization, Action - Sound - Play Sound |

I'll take a look at the post, because that doesn't work for me. so...maybe there is more to it. Looked at it and found what you posted, however, reading through the whole post, someone else reported that they couldn't get this to work either. So, either there is more to it or my sound format isn't right...Anybody know? TIA. |

i think he means mp3.. meaning music right? ok go to the sound editor... find the thing u want in there, right click it and say USE AS MUSIC, then it will load into your sound editor after that, map a map initialziation - action - play music. and select the music |

no, I did mean sound. Actually, I tried it as an mp3 music, but the clip just loops and sounds really bad. :) I did set up the use as sound, so I can play it. I've done the map init, play sound setup, but it doesn't work that way. The sound is a wav file. |
