Starting all over again...

Hey y´all

After 3 days of Terrain fixing on my first map I realised that it´d be easier to create a new map, not only because it doesn´t look good, no it´s more the size I chose which´s giving me a headache. (way to small ... my cinematics lose all their atmosphere due to the narrow places.)

Since I already made lotsa Heros/Units/Triggered Abilitys which I want to keep I was wondering if there´s an easier way than just redo everything in the new map. (not the Terrain, just the Triggers and Custom Units/Abilitys)

Thx

Oh and if someone has a nice beach map, or some tipps on how to make a good one I´d appreciate those aswell :ggani:

PS: Here a Picture of the very bad, way to disconnected beach map ...

(it´s a very early shot but still it´s to small to fix all the Probs)

ypou open the old map with something like WinMPQ and you take whatever you want (*.j for triggers and map settings (name, description.........), *.*3u for custom units ..........) and you put them into the new map ;)

edit :

or you open world edit and export all that stuff. (its in the file menu of each of the editors)

then you import them into the new map.

Or you could just go to Map Options and change the map size instead of starting over....
