Fog Question

Anyone know if it is possible to attach terrain fog to the terrain instead of the camera? as is the fog is attached to the camera via the Z Start and Z End, but I want to attach it to the ground so I can make it look like a thick fog around the units feet rather than solely effecting distances from the camera.

Also can anywon see density doing anything, the z start and z end work fine, but with the same distances i can have 0.01 density or 100 density with no noticeable difference, anyone know what density is supposed to do, if anything?

Create a region, and then add fog to it. Is that what you're talking about?

Far be it for me to put words in anybody's mouth but it sounds a lot like he's asking about "environmental" fog. If the issue is that it extends upwards too far, you can probably alter that in weather.slk. At least I know you could prior to tft/1.10. I'm not 100% sure how you'd do it now, but in that slk there is a field that lets you alter the z axis of the fog (and they're talking about the "true" z axis, not the "fake" one that is used in cinematic fog). Presumably, you could set that to a value like 25 or so, and make knee-level fog. Hope that helps.
