Okay after you get done creating your skin, and you have your .blp ready to go what in the name of god do you do with it? Import it straight into your map right? Okay, but then what's the filepath it needs to point to to show up ingame?
You overwrite some existing file with the one you just added in? Or does it have to be renamed (the new file) to overwrite the skin of the unit you wanna put it on? Or can you just keep whatever you named the .blp to as the file name?

I have no clue. I've been trying to get this answer out of people forever, apparently its either secret or they assume you know how to do it already, cause in all the tutorials it just runs over that part. Their all in psudo english or require 3dsMax... Wich is $3400, unless you pirate it off of kazaa or somthing. Bleh, How the fèking hèll do you get it into the map? Replacing or non, I dont care.
I'm new to the whole editor thing and i was wondering when you have remodeled and skinned and exported everything into your map, do the players on bnet just need to download the map to see the moding or do they need to download a seperate file?
:bgrun:
Thx for the reply, thats good to hear. But why is it that i have never played a modded map on bnet before? I have never seen one in custom games. emote_confused
