I've tried "Issue Order Targeting Unit" but it will only let me cast spells that are in-game, and I want to cast custom ones, please help. |

The only way I know of doing so is modifying the .mpq, but then again I've only worked with the RoC editor, and not the TFT one. Which are you using? |

So far, the only way I know is to give the unit the custom skill, then try doing the trigger again. Mainly because you can't cast a skill you don't have. I'm not 100% sure about this, however. :bgrun: |

create a units folder in your wc3 dir and put the files in there, that way the editor can access the spells in the GUI |

Hey, sorry it took so long to reply I've been trying out a bunch of different ways but none seem to work, I wouldn't really know how to edit my mpq or do any of that stuff. I've just been fiddling with the editor tonight trying to figure out the abilities and cinematics etc. That units thing looks interesting, though I don't know how to move any units into the folder. |

actually just command the unit using the spell you based it off as. For example, if you made a new spell out of a neutral animate dead, you would have to order a unit without a target to neutral - animate dead. Just use the spell you based it off as. Understand? |

I think I know what your saying, but wouldn't that give me an extra icon? I don't want an icon for it =\, and also it won't let me use custom spells. |

Yea its amasing what you can figure out when you read all the entries in the editor. Like the one that says what issued order will activate the spell. You know...the one in SPELL editor. :ggani: |
