Return of the Dragons - Alexstraza Dragon Whelp

Well I had to do this, so here it is. The wrapping and the model are hard to skin (Darky27 told me that lots of good skinners failed thoroughly on this job, - including Mav - , so I'm glad this one is good and has the quality required by this great project), and unfortunately I can't do anything about the neck problem. Anyway here it is. More dragon skins like this one are on their way. Comments are welcome as always.

Actually Alexstraza is the Dragon queen from War2. And as the title says, it's going to be used in the Return of the Dragons campaign. Chechk the forum or site in my sig.

How long does it take you to do a skin like that? Creating all those individual scales, must take donks. Or have you created a texure in photoshop and now its all done at the click of a button?

They were done 1 by 1. It looks all the way better and more realistic this way.

[edit]
And I don't remember how long did it take exactly, but around 6 hours (split up sure).
