i created a spell off of orb of lightning, maybe thats why it doesnt work. but i filled out all necessary stuff, like the tooltips and lvls. but it shows it at reasearch part, but when i use it it says toltip missing. ill show a screenshots |

On abilities, there's two different types of tool-tips. One for learning, and the other for using the spell. Check these fields for your spell in your object editor. Level 1 - Text - Tooltip - Normal Level 2 - Text - Tooltip - Normal Level 3 - Text - Tooltip - Normal Level 1 - Text - Tooltip - Normal - Extended Level 2 - Text - Tooltip - Normal - Extended Level 3 - Text - Tooltip - Normal - Extended If they're empty, that's your problem. |

I have a similar problem, I know all this well and good but when I get to research it for level 2 it dosent have the correct %'s even though Ive changed the Letter/# coding in the tooltips. Im curious to know exactly how this works... Also when Ive been editing abilites some times the complete list of possible changes comes up, I mean THE WHOLE LEAST EVERY DAMN LITTLE STATISTIC IMAGINABLE but sometimes it simply gives me the stats it uses in that spell, is there a way to open all the properties? :abomHUH?: |
