WE map load error; replacing files with WinMPQ?

Greets.

WE crashed when I was saving my map, and now I have an error. See the enclosed image.

This seems like the kind of thing that I might be able to remedy by opening the map with WinMPQ and replacing an existing component file with one from a different map.

Does someone know what file I might want to replace?

Never mind, it looks like WinMPQ also can't load the map. Please, someone tell me I haven't just lost the map.

I don’t know enough about this to say whether you might recover it but I can advise you to back up the map very often. If you really didn’t have any kind of backup of this map I’d advise you to check WorldEditTestMap. Hopefully you have tested your map shortly before this error happened and haven't overwritten it by testing something else.

Thank you, yes, I've been able to recover an old version of the map from a fellow on my LAN.

I stopped using Test Map because of how raunchy it was in RoC.

I haven't given up the thought, though, that this file might be retreivable. I lost a couple weeks worth of pretty solid work.
