Is it possible to use milkshape?

I found gmax (and studio) to be too messy and overly non-user-friendly for the simple model editings I want to do, and since I've been using milkshape for over 3 years, I know that tool as the palm of my left hand, and can use it to the max (or so) of it's potential...
So anyway, I'm wondering if there's a way to edit or make models for warcraft trough milkshape? That will allow me to do a lot better than the sucky things i've made with gmax.

Yeah, in fact, the best exporter right now is for milkshape.

The file section is empty of tools... And these forums are kinda messed up (tutorials are over there, but then you got modelling forum, and tutorial for modeling and there's also.... blaa)
So where can i find that darn importer? :P

well the exporter is ind the downloadsection

http://www.wc3campaigns.com/download...e63aeb3277d340

under mdl exporter plugin for milkschape

only the zerojoint plugin that is needed for animation could be a little bit hard to find
but the new link should be in the forum

the only importer is the kmk skript for 3ds max so far
but I don't know how to edit models which keeps the animation

Sorry if im wrong on this but..

War3 models are in the format of .mdx.
You should import from .mdx to .mdl.
then with from what you can use a plugin for milkshape on .mdl ext..

Neways i dunno what im talking about but i hope this helps
