I'm in the process of making a map. I've set my max hero level to 18 in the game>constant. Testing custom hero i just created and everything went fine until when my hero gained to level 5. It just froze there. I've read msg boards and of course i read the tft we Faq thread but it still doesn't work. I've tried changing it back to max level 10 and even used one of the default hero. It just freezes at level 5 where you can't gain exp anymore. Any thoughts anyone? >.< :( :bangH: :reallyang Ak47_Type_R <Wheres my avatar go?> <Oh yeah! The trash bin.> <Nooo! I deleted it!> |

This had to do with blizzards new creep exp. If a monster is owned by neutral hostile (aka creeps). You will not receive exp bonus past lvl 5. I am not sure if there is a work around for this using neutral hostile. But if the creeps are owned by player 1 to 12, you will receive exp from the kill (even with placed creeps, they just have to be owned by a player, a PC player will do fine) |

Thanks a bunch Dakan! Thanks to you, I just figured out how to get around that little problem. :D Heres how to do it: On the World Editor Screen click on Advanced>Gameplay Constants. Locate "Hero XP Gained - Creep Reduction Table" Clear the values that was already set into it and replace it with 100. (This just sets it to gain 100% percent XP from all neutral hostile on every level) There you go. Hope it helps anyone else who was having this problem. =P Thanks again Dakan! ^_^ |

Ah so that is where they hid it. I never really fully looked over the game constants yet, just thumbed though it. Nice to know thats how to solve it. |
