I'm really intrested in making some "Undead" creations, so it'd be great if someone could give me some tips on what tools and such to use in photoshop to give things an undead feel.

Stipple. It's under natural brushes 1.

Not only that. You can use new overlaying layers to make blood. Use a 'mid' red, then burn and dodge to make variations (remember in a NEW layer). Also remember that old dry blood is darker and wet new blood is brighter, but never too much.

A nice effect is to make a new layer, draw a line of blood over a wound, then set the smudge tool to about 25% then drag down. Dodge and burn a bit (making it darker at the enterence to the wound) and it looks like it's really flowed out hevily, then stopped and left a mark. As for stitches, the trick is to burn the area where it enters the skin, to make it look dented.

Hope that helps!
