Guest | Hi. I'd had the idea for awhile that I could add a texture to my map and then use it as a fade/filter, like what Blizzard did with the Panda-n-Cub. After seeing the Rise Of The Krill trailer now I know it's possible, but I can't get it to work. I've made my image a blp, put it into my map (ReplaceableTextures\CameraMasks\Test.blp) and then extracted the war3map.j, changed the filename of the fade/filter, and then put it back in. When I run it in WC3 it gives me an error though (I think it's a violation error, I'm not sure though). Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong (or how to do it if I'm way off)? |
