I have a couple questions concerning the terrain on the map

1) i've noticed in some maps that the tile set at base 12 have been increased to 24, I've tried to fiddle around with it in the editor but it doesn't seem to work. Is there some other advance editor out there that is user (noob) friendly that can be used for Frozen Throne 1.11+ ?

2) How do people make those tall mountains with the flat sides instead of the pyramid shape that the editor has? Is that possible in Frozen Throne 1.11?

3) What are some good editing tools that are freeware and easy to use. I notice most people use Photoshop but unless your willing to shell out 500+ it's totally unrealistic. Also i haven't been able to find a good download on kazaa lite for any of the photoshops 6 and up.

4) Finally i've read about how many of the old usefull editors are now obsolete in 1.11 tft. However is there a way to reset the editor version t 1.03 or whatever it was and use all the old programs, then update it back to 1.11 and still have everything work as it should?emote_sweat . However if this is not true then what are some Links to some good editors out there that are, agian, user (noob) friendly

For the gfx program, i reccommend the GIMP - http://www.gimp.org/ A windows version is also available at http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32/

It's an open-source photoshop clone, and it has some nice features in it. (I prefer photoshop myself, but some people prefer this program)

1) Probaby only in blizzard maps.

2) I'm not sure what you mean, but I think you're talking about cliffs. They're the second option on the terain pallette.

3) What he said. Also don't mention Kazaa or anything, it's frowned upon (kudos for using Lite, though)

4) Use the TFT World Editor, it can do everything the old enhancers could do, and more.
