Certain Abilities Don't Show Up?

Hello again everyone,
I was trying to make Phoenix Fire's passive icon appear on a unit to no avail. I've even tried making it a hero skill, upon being researched the skill absolutely refuses to show up on the unit's command button section in the lower right corner. Is there anyway to fix this at all?

i looked at this a bit. oddly, i can't even see a phoenix fire icon on a phoenix. what do u need it for. maybe u can work around it

I needed it for a hero ability, which is why this is bothering me. :(

I'm guessing out of my arse, but I think that the Phoenix's fire is one of the abilities that isn't shown at all on the unit (similar to abilities like any of the Cargo Holds). It may simply be programmed not to have an icon at all.

If that's the case -- again, I'm guessing -- I don't think you can give it a button at all.

Perhaps Immolation is close enough for you? Or perhaps someone with real knowledge will show up?

Hrm.. well, if there actually is no way around this, would it be possible to solve this problem using the mighty intricacies of convinient triggers? Anyone have any ideas?

Use the perminent imolation and then just change icon.

I made the ability for you on the attachment. Just DL it and see if its the one you want. Feel free to edit to how you like it. I set it to passive ability because I think that's what you wanted. You can also make it Aura + Phoenix Fire or Evasion + Phoenix Fire or however you might come up with. Buy anyways... Hope it helps out... me tires .. go to sleep... >.<

Oh yeah, I forgot to change the art - button position icons to x=1, y=1.
I'm not sure if it will force a hero ability off the command buttons but its probably best to set it to that to make sure. Just thought you may want to know. =)
