Months ago, I promised there would be a War3x tournament at SME. Well that time has come! The staff of Sovereign Modding Empire is proudly announcing the first ever (War3x) tournament here, with the clever name "2003 Summer Sovereign Smackdown". Now you may be thinking, "Eh, another tournament by the community. The prize is reputation based. What's the difference? What's the catch?". Well I'll tell you what the catch is; the prize for the winner will be a stick of 256mb DDR PC2700. That's right! A stick of RAM! HURRAH!! Since there is only one great prize to give away, this tournament must obviously be solo. The judges / referees will be the SME staff, and I myself will be organizing it. A: The standard solo Blizzard ladder maps, so people don't get confused. Q: Can anyone join, or is there a limitation? A: Anyone can join. Q: Oh my god, my opponent cheated and I lost! What are you going to do about it? A: Our staff will be the judge of that. If you are caught cheating (in any form), they reserve the right to remove you from the tournament. Due to some conflicts with our sponsor, this is no longer the prize. not the best idea for a prize my comuter isn't even compatable with that kind :( make the prize money or make it options like it could be also beter pseakers (nead'em mine are old as hell :infth: ) |

Nice, as above though it wouldnt work with my com, what id really like to see happening would be a map making contest, ie contestents sign up and they have a week to make something ie; Melee Map, Small Cinematic, Mission/RPG Mission and then at the end of the week they are submitted and the best few are chosen then put into a vote and see what the Public think. Id love for that to happen, but i doubt it would. Tirias |

Lol, that's the attitude, Dark Azonik! Wow.....I don't exactly ferquent WC3C (as you can tell by my post count), but there are like 2 comps TOTAL at SME that can't take teh RAM. *Shrugs* Oh well. If you can't handle it, just sell it on ebay, as suggested ;) |
